Rate card for fixed page advertising

Rates for fixed page advertising (for example a banner on our "Freeware" page) and page availability are available on request. Pages that can be bannered are Front, Latest, Favourites, Coolest, International, Categories, Authors and Freeware/Shareware, and are typically booked for a round number of months. If you book one or more of these pages, your banner is shown exclusively. You will not be rotated with other banners for that page.

Rate card for rotating page advertising

Rates for rotating banners are quoted are US dollar CPM (cost per 1,000 banner impressions), based upon run-of-site (banners are rotated accross our entire site apart from those pages carrying fixed page ads). Rotating banners can be used to complement fixed page ads if desired, and are ideal for campaigns running over several months.

For example: 3 months of advertising at 30,000 impressions per month (for a total of 90,000 impressions) gives a rate of $10 . The total cost would be 30 (thousand) x 3 months x $10 = $900.

Payment in full for either fixed or rotating ads is due at the start date of the campaign. We can start running the ads on confirmation of receipt of our invoice, and for those in a hurry, we are usually able to process the creative and place the banner on our site within 5 working days.

Banner details - the graphic, the text and the target URL

EuroCool uses standard banner sizes of 468 (width) by 60 (height). We can accept slightly oversized or undersized banners. File size is limited to 14K, but we advise 8-12K so your banner loads quickly, before our page! Graphics may be JPG files or GIF files, static or animated (looping allowed).
Please keep the content clean.
Advertisers can also supply a few words of alt-text that can be displayed for text only browsers, or while the graphic is loading. Hover your mouse over the banner at the top of the page to see an example. A short, pithy slogan is ideal.
Don't forget to supply us with a target web URL for the banner to point to!

Terms & conditions

Cancellation is possible, and we will happily refund outstanding impressions. Note however that early cancellation may result in the loss of volume discounts. ie if you purchase 50,000 impressions for 6 months, but cancel after 1 month, expect to pay the 1 month rate-card rate for banners already served!
EuroCool reserves the right to refuse unsuitable material, or cancel the campaign at short notice (catastophic server failure for example) by refunding unused impressions - though this has never happened.
